Latemar ski resort – Obereggen ski resort

Obereggen with its massive ski resort is well worth a detour.
Here, experienced skiers can test their skills on the world-famous Sellaronda and the popular "Peace Ski Tour".
After an eventful day on the sunny slopes, round off the evening with a delicious dinner with typical Tyrolean dishes in our farmhouse dining room by the cosy fireplace.

Christmas market around the Brixen Cathedral

Christkindlmarkt – Christmas market

Advent in the Alps is a very special time. Advent is a time of anticipation and contemplation. A time when villages and cities are filled with a magical atmosphere. The alleys and squares are wrapped up in beautiful colours and a warm light floods the darkness at night. At the corner of every house you can hear street musicians playing their Advent carols. A sweet scent of Christmas cookies, cinnamon and mulled wine wafts through the streets. The shop windows and stands are festively decorated, the atmosphere is promising.
The Christmas markets in Bolzano, Bressanone and Merano are famous far beyond the country's borders. Less known, but nonetheless worth a visit, are the Christmas markets in Carezza, Chiusa and Vipiteno as well as the “Sarner Alpenadvent” in the Sarentino valley.
